Overview

As a regulated profession, CPAs enjoy both public respect and legal privilege that are embodied in statute and rule. Each state board of accountancy has different (sometimes unique) statutes and rules that govern your license and our profession. What's more, how those rules are interpreted can impact your individual CPA license, CPA firm permit, and our broader CPA ecosystem here in Missouri.

New for 2022, this course is for Missouri CPAs and support team members who have already taken the popular Missouri State-Specific Regulatory Ethics: A Plain English Guide course. This seminar will cover only new Missouri State Board of Accountancy 2021 statute and rule changes, and will focus on selected case study scenarios to illustrate real-world examples of how Missouri statutes and rules have been and are interpreted. Moderately interactive, participants may be asked to, well....participate, workshopping how you would advise selected case study CPAs navigate Missouri-specific regulations.

This is a live, and in-person seminar only and facilities will have maximum capacity, so make sure to book your seat today for a fun and interactive Ethics program with your friends at MOCPA!
