MOCPA’s Educator Roundtables provide a unique platform for Missouri’s accounting educators to share, collaborate and cooperate in delivering high-quality accounting education. 

Join MOCPA educator members for a festive Zoom session on Friday, December 4, from 1-2 p.m.  Professionalism Matters: An Educator Exchange

Help your students make a great first impression—before they ever walk into the workplace.

Join fellow accounting educators for a relaxed, interactive roundtable as we share the lessons we've learned about teaching professionalism. From classroom conversations to internship feedback, we'll exchange practical ideas that help students develop the habits employers value most.

Each participant is invited to share:
• A professionalism tip—something you intentionally teach or tell students that has made a positive difference in preparing them for internships or careers.
• A professionalism horror story—an unforgettable example (anonymized, of course!) of what not to do and the lesson it taught you about preparing students for the workplace.

Together we'll build a collection of real-world examples, practical advice, and teaching strategies that we can all take back to our classrooms.

Ugly holiday sweaters are strongly encouraged (prizes will be awarded!), so grab your favorite festive beverage, bring your best stories, and join us for Professionalism Matters: An Educator Exchange.
