St. Louis Chapter

The St. Louis Chapter has approximately 3,600 members and is made up of the following counties: Crawford, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Francois, St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Ste. Genevieve, Warren, and Washington.

May 19 - Topgolf Tournament
5 - 8:30 p.m.
Get ready to test your golf game, enjoy time with friends and colleagues, and raise money for MOCPA’s Legacy Endowment Scholarship fund! No experience is necessary, and you can register as a team or individually. The event includes two golf games, a dinner buffet, beverages and raffles. It promises to be an entertaining evening of golfing, networking, food and all-around fun!

June 2-3 - Annual Members Convention
Enjoy networking and fellowship among friends and colleagues, along with comprehensive professional development opportunities, at this unique event in Lake Ozark. It’s the perfect way to kick off your summer!  

July 22 - Professional Development for Busy Women: The CliffsNotes! 9.0
8 - 10 a.m.
Given the state of the world, personal development is as important as ever. There is a plethora of insightful professional development literature out there, but who has time to read it all? Hear from five speakers, each of whom will deliver a high-level summary of the key points from a professional development book that they found to be helpful, inspiring and educational. You're sure to learn some tips to help further your own career.

July 28 - Bocce Ball Tournament & Auction
5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Reconnect with friends and colleagues while having fun and relieving stress at the Italia-America Bocce Club! Compete in teams of two for first, second and third place prizes. Participants will also have the opportunity to bid on items in a mini silent auction as well as purchase 50/50 tickets, with funds going toward the MOCPA Legacy Endowment Fund.

Aug. 10 - Foodbank Volunteer Opportunity
3 - 5 p.m.
Spend time with your peers while making a difference in your community! St. Louis Chapter members will be volunteering at the St. Louis Area Foodbank in the Repackaging Center assembling food boxes for senior citizens in need.

Sept. 30 - Stray Rescue Volunteer Opportunity
2:30 - 5 p.m.
Join your fellow chapter members at Stray Rescue of St. Louis to help walk the center’s dogs. Stray Rescue strives to ensure that every companion animal knows health, comfort and affection, and no stray is euthanized. Volunteers will start off with a short orientation and tour of the facility before interacting with the dogs. Closed-toed shoes are mandatory, and long pants are recommended.

Nov. 18 - Nurses for Newborns Volunteer Opportunity
1 - 4 p.m.
Nurses for Newborns provides a safety net for families most at-risk to help prevent infant mortality, child abuse, and neglect by providing in-home nursing visits that promote healthcare, education, and positive parenting skills. Come together with your fellow chapter members in volunteering to bag diapers, sort and match clothes, date food, check and clean baby toys and equipment.

Multiple Dates - MOCPA Roundtables
Gather with fellow CPAs in your niche to assess critical challenges and exchange ideas in a discussion-based forum. Leave with enhanced knowledge and an enriched network. The conversation starts with you!
