Since 2006, MOCPA and AICPA have partnered to honor outstanding women in the profession through the Women to Watch awards. This program highlights the accomplishments of women in the profession, and demonstrates to emerging female leaders that success is not out of reach.
Hannah Castellano’s natural leadership abilities and desire to serve others shine through in all that she does.
She was quickly recognized at her firm for being a top performer with an entrepreneurial spirit. As such, she was chosen to participate in the Baker Tilly International Exchange Program at Staples Rodway LTD in Auckland, New Zealand. Hannah received the firm’s Community Service Award for her substantial commitment to volunteerism and was awarded the Emerging Leader Award by the firm’s Community Service Committee.
As vice president and president-elect of the Cardinal Glennon Development Board, Hannah leads other young professionals in planning events that benefit the pediatric hospital’s patients and their families. She is an active member of the United Way Allocations Committee, and Cor Jesu Academy’s Young Alumni Committee. Hannah was an active campus leader while attending the University of Missouri and continues to make an impact through her involvement as an alumnus. She mentors students and other young professionals, places an emphasis on creating a better workplace environment, and is involved in recruiting for the profession and her firm.
