2011 CPA Exam Changes
Be prepared! The CPA Exam has undergone massive changes which went into effect January 1, 2011!
Some of the changes are:
- New Content and Skill Specifications (CSOs/SSOs), including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Task-Based Simulations (TBS) will replace simulations in the current format in Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR), and Regulation (REG)
- Research functionality that includes the FASB Codification
- New exam structure, reorganized sections and new time limits on AUD (4.5 to 4 hours) and BEC (3 to 3.5 hours)
- Changes in the percentage value of examination components
