Outstanding CPA in Business & Industry Award

This award was created to recognize business and industry members who have contributed significantly to the growth and success of his/her employer organization or have achieved notable entrepreneurial success. Qualifiers for the award must have also contributed significantly to the profession’s growth and enhancement.

Through his distinguished service to his organization and to the MSCPA, Don Danner demonstrates a lifelong dedication to the advancement of the CPA profession.

Danner has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Aspen Marketing Services for more than five years.  In that time period, he has been instrumental in steering the company from a small marketing services firm to a nationally-ranked agency with revenues of more than $300 million.  He is adept at identifying expansion opportunities, and is a key member of Aspen’s Mergers and Acquisitions Team.

During his tenure in the MSCPA and the CPA profession, Danner has played an integral role in the development of resources and initiatives for CPAs working in business and industry.  An innovative strategist and devoted champion of new ideas, he continually seeks ways to better serve CPAs in the industry sector—and he works diligently to see these ideas through to fruition.
