Every Tuesday in September, CPAs and accounting students will have the opportunity to discuss different areas of interest in the accounting profession, including: Tax and Audit; Government and Forensic; Educator and Legal; Advisory and IT; and Industry and Non-Profits. Attend as many of these complimentary sessions as you’d like, and bring your questions!

Sept. 16 - Virtual Ice Cream Social for Students
4 - 5 p.m.
If you are an accounting major or interested in exploring career opportunities for CPAs, join us for a look into the many rewarding options the accounting profession offers. And, the best part? We’ll be doing it over a bowl of ice cream! So grab your favorite flavor, and log in to this interactive session that will feature MOCPA members sharing their experiences and insights, and answering your questions!

Sept 1 and 25 - Spotlight on the Profession: Virtual Issues Update
8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
A wave of social and digital transformation is shaping the future of our profession, and MOCPA is here to help CPAs in Missouri leverage these changes for success. Learn about top issues impacting the profession; the latest profession trends; AICPA developments; what we are seeing right here in Missouri in 2020; and what you can expect in 2021 and beyond.

Multiple Dates - Virtual MO State Specific Ethics
8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
It can be challenging to find and understand the requirements to keep your license or firm humming along so you can focus on client and business work. Updated for 2020, this plain English course seeks to guide CPAs and firms to best understand and navigate the regulatory environment that impacts the profession in Missouri.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all chapter events will be virtual until the foreseeable future. To help keep everyone connected during these challenging times, all six chapters will be collaborating on state-wide programming. For any questions about chapter activities or to get involved, please contact Dana Seipp at (800) 264-7966 or dseipp@mocpa.org.
