The Kansas City Chapter has approximately 2,000 members and is made up of the following counties: Bates, Carroll, Cass, Clay, Henry, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Miami, Platte, Ray, and Wyandotte.

Oct. 19 - Meet Your Future Employee
11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
This virtual career fair for accounting students is back by popular demand! Last year, more than 25 organizations and 100+ students participated! Take this opportunity to meet accounting students and share information about your firm or company, as well as job and internship positions, via one to one or group video chat using the Handshake platform. All proceeds from the event will go to MOCPA's Legacy Endowment Scholarship Fund.

Nov. 9 - Volunteer at HappyBottoms
4 - 6 p.m.
Help HappyBottoms provide diapers to children from low-income families through local partner agencies and hospitals. Volunteers will learn how HappyBottoms is working to eliminate diaper need in Kansas City, tour the warehouse, receive training, and then begin counting and wrapping diapers into donation-ready packs. Afterward, feel free to head over to KC Bier Co. for food, drinks and camaraderie.

Nov. 9 - Reconnect at Social Hour
5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Kick back and enjoy a relaxing evening filled with drinks, food and in-person conversation at KC Bier Co. The venue has both indoor and outdoor accommodations to fit your comfort level.

Nov. 18 - Awards Celebration
5:30 - 8:15 p.m.
(Optional stadium tour 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.)
Gather with your fellow CPAs at Arrowhead Stadium for an evening of honoring those who have achieved major milestones and earned prestigious awards during the past year. Show your support of the profession, network with others, and meet successful individuals at all career stages! This event will follow all current CDC and venue guidelines for COVID-19.
