>  Missouri General Assembly Passes CPA Mobility Bill

On the final day of the legislative session on May 16, the Missouri General Assembly passed a bill that included provisions for both firms and individual CPAs to ease interstate practice mobility.  Missouri now joins 25 other states (including contiguous states Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee) in state laws that include no fees, no notification, no additional requirements, and automatic jurisdiction in allowing CPA from other states to practice in their respective states.  The AICPA reports that all states should have passed mobility legislation by 2011.
