ACCOUNTING & AUDITING PROCEDURES
Further the development and recognition of accounting and auditing standards, stimulate members' understanding and compliance, and provide a forum for technical discussions and questions.

Further the development and proper application of governmental accounting and auditing standards for Missouri school districts. Promote the value of CPA services to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and local school district officials.

BUSINESS VALUATION SERVICES
To enhance and ensure the quality of professional business valuation services provided to the public by MSCPA members. To take a leadership role in the business valuation profession, bringing together resources and knowledge from and for both CPA and non-CPA business valuation professionals.

Promote and enhance the profession by sharing best practices, innovative strategies, and ideas to the leaders of accounting practices both large and small. Help develop learning opportunities for the emerging leaders of the profession.

TAXATION
Distribute information to members on federal, state, and local taxation; maintain liaison with the Internal Revenue Service, the Missouri Department of Revenue, and city and county tax officials; make recommendations for improving tax processes and structures, cooperate and exchange ideas with other organizations; help in developing a fuller public understanding of the CPA's competence in taxation.
