Firm Leadership Committee
Committee Mission To further the interests of MSCPA members practicing in firms by creating a forum for the exchange of ideas and the development of practice aids for this membership segment.
Continuing Activities
1) To ensure that small firm practitioners have a communications network available to them within the MSCPA.
2) To develop practice aids for members employed in small businesses or who have small business clients.
3) To serve as a liaison to the AICPA’s Small Firm Advocacy Committee.
4) To provide input to the strategic planning process regarding the future needs of small firms.
5) To inform members of technical aids and other resources available by publishing periodic articles in The ASSET.
6) To recommend members to volunteer for the Consultation Service for small firm issues.
7) Assist chapters, as appropriate, in establishing and maintaining small firm roundtable groups.
8) To increase the awareness of small business of the types of service provided and the expertise possessed by CPAs.
9) To monitor the activities of other groups as they relate to CPAs in the small business field, and recommend action as appropriate.
